Separation and Divorce Timeline

This timeline is for me to understand the order that certain milestones were hit during the divorce process.

August 2001 – June 2021

Unfulfilling and sexless marriage to a certified narcissist.

January 2020

She started getting plastic surgery for her personal physical improvements. Over $50K was paid for with our joint income. She refused to acknowledge and reimburse me for what was obviously the start to our divorce.

May 28th, 2021

Suspicions from web traffic on our home network lead me to make an account on Ashley Madison for infidelity. I found my wife’s profile and made screenshots for future use.

June 4th, 2021

On this date, I returned home to find my wife in our bedroom wanting to talk. She informed me that she wanted a separation and I was to leave the house to find new living arrangements immediately. There was never talk about separation, divorce, or counseling prior to this day.

June 14th, 2021

Received receipts from wife’s purchases of the Tinder, Match, and Bumble apps.

November 9th, 2021

Discovered that Katherine had moved in her boyfriend to the same house where my daughter resides.

July 1st, 2022

When her mother abandoned Ellenora on July 1st, I didn’t see the need to file a custody order. Instead I worked to repair the relationship and help move toward a 50 / 50 custody remedy. I had 100% custody for 6 months where Ellenora became a much happier and balanced child. This was even noticed by our daughter’s therapist. I don’t have the documentation on this, but I need to reach out and request it.

January 2nd, 2023

I got upset about Katherine dictating events on the shared calendar after abandoning her child for 6 months and offering zero support. I got upset and threw a fit while my daughter was in her room. She came out to inquire why I was mad and I told her I wasn’t mad at her, but only her mother. She called her mother to come pick her up and I was made out to be the villain in court.

January 5th, 2023

I received a winning verdict on the equitable distribution that was documented in the settlement agreement. Katherine refused to honor the document and I had to pay out of pocket to sue her for the breach.

January 5th, 2023

After the verdict, Katherine immediately filed a Child Custody order for full custody of our daughter.
